How long does it take for my site to show on Search Engines?
We would allow at least 3 weeks for Search Engine 'spiders' to crawl your website site.
Once the Search Engine spiders have paid your site a visit you will appear in the listings.
However, there is no way to be certain at this stage where this will be.
Will you guarantee a first page ranking?
The simple answer is no. Despite any assurances or guarantees you may have received from
other SEO specialists, no-one can guarantee that your website will obtain a certain ranking
within a certain search engine. Services we offer will maximise your potential for obtaining the
best ranking possible.
What search terms should I use?
We will discuss your target market area with you to create a list of potential keywords
and phrases. These will be extensively researched and the best ones chosen according to the
4 golden rules of keyword research.
What are the 4 golden rules of keyword research?
Simply put they are 'Relevance', 'Traffic', 'Competition' and 'Commerciality'. If you would like to know
more, please contact us.
Are there any hidden costs?
No! All charges will be made clear to you at the outset
You talk about meta tags what are they?
Meta Tags are elements of a web page that have an effect on your search engine
positioning and describe the contents of your web page.
What happens after my site is ranked?
Once your site has obtained a good search engine ranking we suggest that it
is monitored on a quarterly basis. Once your contract with us has reached a conclusion
we are more than happy to assist on an ad-hoc basis.
Will you submit my site to search engines and how often?
In the majority of cases there is no need to submit sites to search engines as the spiders
are more than capable of finding your site. Where necessary we will submit to a search engine,
but just once.
I've got lots of visitors but no customers - why?
This could be down to various reasons. The most common ones are the site is of poor
quality and contains barriers to conversion or the visitors you get are not targeted traffic.
Both of these can be rectified with our help -
contact us for more information.
How do I know how may visitors I'm getting?
It's important to monitor not just the number of visitors, but where they come from,
how long they spend on your site and the pages they visit. This information allows us to see
not just how much traffic you are getting, but the quality too. It also allows us to see any areas
that may need addressing or are redundant.
Google analytics is a comprehensive FREE tool that can be simply added to your site to
show you this and more - we can help you add this tool and also explain the information it
produces - contact us to see how we can help.
I've been told I need a lot more visitors to my site to make money is this true?
Not necessarily. It's not about quantity it's about quality. There is little point having 1000
random visitors if you only convert 1 to a customer. It's far better to have 100 targeted visits
because you stand a better chance of converting 10 of these to customers.
